I wouldn’t recommend going here if you care about how you feel, not just what your “doctor” thinks. There are huge problems in the healthcare system, and this place may exemplify some of them. I was disappointed with Joseph DePaola’s irresponsibility when it came to prescribing me controlled substances, and then ceasing to though I was clearly still experiencing withdrawal symptoms. If you trust yourself, stay away from here.
I arrived at Union Square Practice one year ago, and it has been a wonderful experience. Eli is a compassionate, understanding, and trustworthy therapist. He has always allowed me to go at my own pace, and has a real knack for being a patient, empathetic listener. Working with him has, with time, helped my performance anxiety and overall mental well-being, things I wished teenage-me had learned years ago.
