The design of the new 2-condo building at 53 Marathon St., Arlington, MA leaves much to be desired. There is only 1 car garage for both units, there is no porch or patio, no back yard or private yard space, no foyer -- you walk directly into the living room. The Marathon St. facade looks like a prison, dark gray and black with few windows. The structure is too big for the lot. The unit open for viewing had 4 bedrooms, but no family room or den. I had another property manager for six years prior to switching over to Union Square Capital and oh my word, what a difference! I didn’t even realize it until I started working with them. First of all, they take pristine care of your property (my last PM left my condo in horrific conditions that required lots of expensive repair). These guys have been managing my two family in Dorchester for two years now. They source great tenants, communicate often, collect rent on time, are first to let me know if there are any issues around the house that need to be taken care of or fixed in the near term and then they propose options to me! I've never had any issues with them managing my property. If you want a reliable and transparent property management company, these guys are it. Highly recommend them!
