Had the Lazy Lobster...fantastic! Great casual atmosphere and service!
We really enjoyed our meal and your restaurant. I did a review on TripAdvisor last night. My wife and I flew our Experimental homebuilt airplane to Belfast from western KY and stayed in Bangor. We read some reviews and decided that your restaurant was what we were looking for. It was the right choice!
Great service, great food! We ate there twice during our week in Maine.
The BEST clam chowder and fresh lobster! The blueberry pie and berry crisp were both excellent as were the mussels and steamed clams. Completely agree with other reviews. They are quite efficient even when slammed and we were seated more quickly than we expected. Will definltely eat here again. Honestly, it beats the lobster pounds we've frequented hands down.
Both food and service are excellent. Get there early or expect to wait!!!
Even when slammed full, service is excellent and wait generally a bit less than advised so you have a pleasant surprise as you sit on the lawn sipping wine and waiting for your table. Do not miss this wonderful spot.
We had a wonderful dinner here. Enjoyed watching the lobsters in the tank and the cook with the pots while waiting for a table. I had the Lobster and Seafood Au Gratin which was terrific. I really liked the cranberry Dijon salad dressing .... They should bottle and sell it!
Absolutely excellent food! Their haddock was the freshest that I'd had in all of Maine. My husband had lobster and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow, but it was a very crowed night, so we were patient. :) The view of the meandering Union River's bubbling water & rocky shoreline, along with the restaurant's lush grassy lawns, just cannot be beat! We highly recommend a stop here.
