RecommendedBest Shrimp Po’ Boy Ever! Great live music too
Went today. I realize the Covid scare is still in full force here in Maine but this is a little ridiculous. Order at a window..take out containers..we sat on the screen room and the smell of the Porta potty wafted in the whole time..Other restaurants are full service just spaced seating and the bathrooms are open. food was ok. wont be back.
Tried Union River for the first time the other night, had an "Impossible Burger" - a vegan burger which has a genuinely meaty texture and taste. We look forward to going back for a lobster dinner. They've recently set up outdoor seating overlooking the river and the atmosphere can't be beat. And the waitstaff was super nice and friendly.
A great meal as always in the beautiful setting.
Had suppah on the lawn last night. Beautiful view of the river, excellent food, great hospitality. URLP provided a great experience and we had a great time!
This place is amazing. Great food! awesome portions. Beautiful inside and out. Pretty sure we will be regulars.
First time in Maine. Lucky we found this gem to try our first ever lobster roll. Also, a great atmosphere with a really nice river view to enjoy all that delicious food.
Absolutely lovely clean inside or outside dining along the Union River. My husband chose the lobster salad roll - the absolute best that he has ever had on the East or west coast (and anywhere in between)! The fried scallops were sweet and delicious! The owners were so friendly and you can tell they take such great care of their restaurant! Exceptional staff! It was definitely worth the 4 hour drive! They also have an AirBnB along the River where sometimes you may see a seal or two!
We both had the Lobster Grilled Cheese. Delicious!! Nice to have the owner stop by our table for a chat. Nice atmosphere and location on the river too.
