I was suddenly faced with a knee injury. I made an appointment and was seen by a NP. I was given a steroid shot. I injured my knee more within a week to the point I can barely put any weight on it. I went to the walk in and seen another NP to which gave me another steroid shot. I asked him what if this doesn't work and he more or less blew me off. My husband thought he was a quack. First visit was the walk in clinic. Great visit, short wait. Good plan of care. But rude reception staff at every occurance. Second visit: Currently an hour late on my appointment with no apology or explanation. I wonder how much longer I will be in this tiny room? Terrible first experience! Third visit: currently been in a small exam room 40 minutes. I’m the first appt of the day and the doc doesn’t do surgeries this day. Well. Dr Bavichi told me he did not do shoulder surgery. Did my brothers. Got the money for x-ray and etc. Then tells me in office,where he was trying to hide from me in the corner of his lg room. WOW. What a liar. This is Union Hospital best. Lololololol.. Sorry terre haute people .you have terrible drs here.. ex travel RN.
Dr McGuirt has need my hand doctor for year. But after waiting 2months to see him about my wrist that I broke a year ago they could not find my MRI that was done right at Union Hospital. With our even looking at me he told his nurse to inform me that they will have to look into why they can't find my MRI and call me back. Can't follow VA orders staff gets rude to patients and it's the vets fault. I hope they can follow surgery orders better then they can follow orders from a hospital. Walked on injury for over a year to even get Ortho appointment and the staff send to department theat was not on order.
