Partner was presenting with a fever over 101, obvious infection in the throat, and they refused to treat it with any antibiotics until their strep and mono tests came back (which takes seven days). All seven days we called back in stating the infection was getting worse and they kept refusing to try anything out. I have a blood test put in stat for a bad bladder infection going into a kidney infection. Put in at at 130-2. Move called until around 5:50 and just missed phone call. I’m was feeling extremely bad and felt I was going into sepsis. I called right back immediately and no one could pick up the phone. They said would call me back with blood work.
