I can't express enough of how grateful I am to Joe, the director of Union Funeral Home. From the 1st time we spoke to him on the phone, he was the most empathetic director we had reached out to and did not treat us like we were just a sale. I lost my dad on 8/22/25 and did not know where to start or how much time I had since this was my 1st time planning a funeral. I would like to highly recommend Union Funeral Home (or any of the Grillo Funeral Services locations) to anyone who finds themselves in the position of needing to plan for themselves or a loved one who has passed. My father very suddenly passed in a tragic circumstance and everyone we dealt with, including and especially the proprietor Nick Grillo and Funeral Director Joseph Wood, was so very kind, patient and informative. I would like to thank the staff of Union Funeral Home for such a wonderful job from the very beginning, the day I call them to pick up my mother through the day of the funeral. Please forgive me for not remembering names but the two gentleman that picked up my mother from my home were very professional, respectful and mindful of the families feelings and concerns.
