I called 911 because my mother had a stroke. She was unable to talk and face drooping. We had just moved from Chicago and did not know the area. The EMS took her to a hospital that did not have stroke care. She was at Union West Hospital for almost 4 hours. She was finally transferred to Carolina Medical Center where it was too late to help. She passed away. I cannot believe the incompetence. I think about it every day
I'm not even sure where to begin here... I have great concerns that should I ever experience a health emergency, that I would be left in the hands of these people. Sad, there is still so much hate in this country towards different groups of people.
