In my almost two years at Union, my utilities bill has gone from averaging $50 a month to now $100 a month. If you like the amenities Union offers, then I have good news for you. you can access them without being a resident at Union! There is no enforcement of amenities at all and they are easily accessible, even for people without a key. The black woman who works in the leasing office is so incredibly rude. I’m mid conversation with her asking a question and she just says “have a nice day” and walks away. Who does that? I think she hates her job/life/self and outwardly projects it. This is not a one time thing either, this has happened two or three times. Apartments are fine, but the lady is so rude.
I recommend Union Chapel Hill for all students at Chapel Hill. The staff has been a great help, especially Chloe, as they have made the move in and residency process easy.
Packages are stolen frequently. Some of the front desk workers are nice and some are very mean. Don’t live here.
