RecommendedMarc and I took advantage of the all you can eat pasta night in Penn Yan yesterday and of course the food was beyond delish as always, but what really stood out was our server Chelsey. She was beyond wonderful and probably one of the best servers we have encountered in a long time. She was attentive, but not intrusive, and made sure we had everything we needed and had a great personality and awesome sense of humor. It was truly and enjoyable meal because of her and she is an asset to your Bistro!
RecommendedEvery town should have a Resturant of this quality. We are long time fans of their original establishment in Hammondsport NY, and especially of their new location in Penn Yan NY. Went tonight for their all you can eat Pasta, Garlic Bread and Salad. The portions were huge! Everything delicious as usual, and our Waitress Chelsea was spectacular. I'm so glad that my fiance suggested it for dinner. Thank you Union Block.

RecommendedThis place has everything you would want in an Italian restaurant experience: cicchetti, antipasti, creative pizzas and pasta dishes. As much as I love pizza, for me, Italian dining is all about the pasta, and Union Block always goes the distance when we make our annual trek to Hammondsport. Tonight we had spaghetti pomodoro that was absolutely amazing. The sauce was just incredible. A half size portion (plenty) left room for dessert and coffee. We left with that all over warm feeling. Two thumbs way up!

My favorite place to eat for a special night out, usually. For health reasons I have had to change from my normal clams marinara Tonight I ordered lemon chicken picante. I have ordered this dish in other restaurants and loved it. This time it had sooo much lemon in it I couldn't eat it. The waitress took it back and said she had it remade.
