I opened a business checking account Jan 2022. After two weeks of use, a payment from the checking to an external credit card bounced and fees were charged by the CC issuer. Funds were not a problem. The CC company informed me Union Bank didn't allow the transaction to happen. I asked Union Bank about this and found out they froze my account completely with no notice given. Mediocre at best. Totally useless business hours. I have a personal checking and a business account here and, when its convenient for me, I will be making a switch.
Never been a client, yet they continue to send copious amount of unsolicited mail to our house, while refusing to take us off a mailing list. Wouldn't trust anyone who markets so aggressively and desperately.
Trying to investigate elder abuse, my sibling milked my parent's Union bank account then closed it. Union Bank employees were happy to give me statements, however, the statements provided gave a transaction number, date and amount. No details as to what the transaction was, where the transaction took place, nothing! Not even whether the transaction was ATM, check, debit card! Useless! I have since gotten other statements for bank accounts of other family members that have passed. They no longer provide ANY USEFUL INFORMATION... read more
