I called the credit union since my employer is a member and applied for a car loan. I was told I would get a call back but never did. I called them back and learned with them that there was something wrong in my social security. The thing is that I already have a car loan and was looking to reduce my APR by doing a refinance . I have been a customer at this credit union since 1991 when it was Western Federal Credit Union. It had always been an excellent bank in every way. Once Western became Unify, it was not the same and I have had ongoing problems. Each year, for the past 5 years, there are several months that I make a regular deposit of $2,800 into my savings account. I have been banking with them since August 2017 at first things was great. Until I lost my job I had a automatic payment that came through that I couldn't stop in time for a fairly high amount and they paid it which would've been all good and dandy if I hadn't just lost my job. I explained everything to them they act like they cared but the reality of it all is they didn't.
