Multiple times over two years now we’ve tried to change our address with the FDNY. For our health insurance and for the UFA prudential investment, etc. We moved in 2018, November. Many calls, spoke to many people. Many of them took our information. One mailed us forms to fill out. Which we did fill out and returned certified. Still no address change. It’s like we’re stuck in the twilight zone. It is bizarre! I’ve called our health insurance to notify them, and they tell me it has to come from FDNY or UFA etc. It’s such a jok... read more

Probably because my Dad was a NYC firefighter back in the day. Assigned to Hook and Ladder 26 in Harlem from 1916 to 1936 with a break for WWI. Was the guy who drove the tiller. And my cousin retired from the NYFD. These guys are the best.and The Union backs them up!
