In the beginning, Sagi was great to work with. He was very prompt, and the timeline was moving along fantastically. Then his tone completely changed, and his communication style certainly needs some improvement. He is very prompt to remind you (the homeowner) that he is not a designer, and he is swift to avoid any responsibility (i.e., blaming us for going on vacation). We had a great experience working with Sagie from unicon. I really appreciate him being super detail oriented and helpful during our project. The initial project was just a bathroom remodeling, but it turned into a pretty much whole house renovation with layout changes. With a good number of quotes we received on our remodeling project, Unicon were not on the cheap end but also definitely not the ones that want to cut corners and make easy money. Unicon were absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I were not only new to the renovation world, but also first time home owners. Picking a contractor is a stressful process —it’s one of those cases where horror stories seem to be the norm. Just finding someone who doesn’t scam you is hard enough, and finding someone who’s actually superb is like finding a diamond in the rough. We’re working with Unicon to do a significant remodel across our ~3000SF house. Our project is complex and involves a number of subspecialties (framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, stone counters, outdoor). The experience with Sagie and Or has really been excellent. They’ve been extremely detail oriented for our project. They have lots of domain experience and are very clear in their communication and quick to respond. We’ve always felt the process has been fair and transparent. Would certainly recommend.
