After months of submitting claims, their office cannot read the information that is already input via their website. You are never notified if anything is wrong with your claim. You never get on the phone people who can truly help. Very sad reality.

My parents had UniCare for 45 years with no issues. I have had UniCare for 31 years. One claim was denied due to being improperly coded at the Dr's office. The Dr's office corrected the coding error and resubmitted the claim. Claim was paid.

The pyramid scheme of healthcare insurance. This is the worst coverage I have ever received in my life. This company will be purposely deceptive to their member AND to the providers in efforts to obstruct your care and benefit their bottom line. If an employer offers this insurance that should be all the warning you need to run in the opposite direction. It takes up to 5 calls to get anything done with this company. Need to reset your password? You'll need to take 10 minutes to listen to their automated menu and get transferred multiple times because you can't do it online (it SAYS you can, but I encourage you to try it yourself). This issue has existed for years. Want to take advantage of the fitness reimbursement? You'll have to submit that request multiple times because it is constantly getting lost or misrouted - you'll get it in 4-6 months after you call 5-6 times. Need... read more
