This used to be my favorite sushi place! It has gone hill!!! I got a Philly roll and the salmon looks to be about 4 shades of pink depending on the piece you look at! (I specifically know when the fish is delivered to sushi places I go to and come the day after so they use the old stuff up the day of delivery) I got a $20 roll and it wasn’t fully closed leaving the roll to open as you pick it up. This place used to be such a gem. Since they've changed ownership, the quality has steadily decreased. Today was the last straw. I ordered a basic eel roll and their heaven roll, along with some miso soup and seaweed salad. The eel roll was so sloppy, it fell apart the moment I barely touched it with my chopsticks. It was just..messy and poorly done. The heaven roll was anything but heavenly..it was dry, tasteless and lackluster for the over $20 price tag. Came here at 5:23pm on Tuesday. The doors were locked for whatever reason. Called them by phone no one answers. Made me drive all the way here for no reason
A smaller Japanese restaurant tucked away in downtown Plano. Not too crowded, quick efficient service and a good value meal.
