First Wax Experience & I’m Officially Hooked! I had my first waxing experience and honestly, I loved it! 🥰 My tech, Sinoya, was amazing! She made me feel comfortable, explained the entire process step-by-step, and gave me great aftercare instructions. As a first-timer, I’m so happy with the results! The pain was definitely REAL , but honestly… the results are worth it! I can officially say I’m a waxer for life! Thank you, Sinoya, for making my first experience such a great one! Highly recommend!
Saw Jalpa who was great! About as painless and efficient as waxing can be. Clearly knows what she's doing, so I asked her and she has 11 years of experience. It shows. I'd recommend going to her.
If I could give negative 5 reviews I would. I’ve always had a good experience with Uni K but I decided to try the Hoboken location for the first time which I wish I didn’t. I was 3 minutes late and when I got there the receptionist and waxer said they can’t see me and they’re back to back because they only have 2 waxers. Which is weird because why keep taking appointments, there were so many appointments online. They obviously just wanted to go home early as it was the end of the day.. My first experience at Uni K Hoboken was horrible. I booked with Stephanie on the recommendation of a friend but when I arrived my service was assigned to Jalpa. What I endured in those 15 minutes was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Patches of hair were left behind, the triangle was lopsided, and my skin was bleeding into the next day.
