Willoughby is wonderful practitioner. His focus on consent and easy, open listening made me feel the most comfortable I ever have in a bodywork setting. Willoughby has an attuned ability to listen deeply to the deep layers of the body. The way he held space for the story in my body with presence, curiousity and specificity helped me shift in profound ways. There was a moment when we worked collaboratively on muscles of the deep hip/pelvis in ways that allowed my body to relax, settle and release in this vulnerable area. We worked regularly for roughly a year and I still feel the ripples of the work we did.
Even if you have a hard time, entrusting your body to a male practitioner, Willoughby will intentionally, genuinely, and deeply support you on so many levels (physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological) that your body will have no other choice than to receive healing. He is a frozen-shoulder-whisperer, a true healer, and an all-around excellent human being.
