Such wonderful customer service. We had to have our entire water line replaced on a very long piece of property. They stay in touch with you during every step of the process and go above and beyond. Their rate was much less than we expected and they didn’t have to dig a trench through the yard as we expected! Quick and efficient.

For the past couple of months I've had a terrible sewer gas smell in my home which would come and go. I was able to figure out the issue was due to a void in the cast iron sewer line in the crawl space. I got a couple of different quotes from companies for replacing the entire sewer line and underground services was who I chose to do the work because they were knowledgeable, responsive, and affordable. I called this company by mistake (my contractor had asked one of his colleagues for the Richmond DPU number and the guy accidentally gave this number instead) and spoke with an associate who was extremely rude. After she answered the phone "Underground Services" (I thought I was talking to the city), I introduced myself and calmly explained that was I calling to get a newly-run water line hooked up to the meter for my house. I needed work done next day and Underground was unable to get to me. BUT they gave me the names and numbers of 5 other plumbers who could do the work, called a few for me, and even checked in with me the next day to make sure that I had found someone. I thought this was particularly considerate and helpful. I will be using them in the future for more planned work!
