I’ve been hearing about this kitchen's wonderful community mission for a while and finally decided to treat myself to a solo dinner last night. The vibe is so cozy and inviting, and the team makes you feel like an honored guest the second you walk in. I ordered the blackened catfish and a side of their famous mac and cheese. Made the drive from Tampa specifically for this and zero regrets. Got the blackened catfish and the seafood mac and cheese, both were ridiculous. Portions are generous too, easily had lunch sorted for the next day. Chef brought the food right to the car which was a nice touch. Will absolutely plan around this on my next trip through Gainesville.

Incredible food, service, and initiative. Be patient when ordering (call only) due to the limited people and space. That being said, you can tell there is a lot of dedication that goes into the food.
Called five times to place an order & no one answers. Literally drove to the location and the sign states that you must call. You cannot knock on the door to order. I could hear people talking and moving pots around. So disappointing and a waste of time.
