The fried chicken, collard greens and Mac and cheese was very flavorful and delicious 😋.Carl the Chef is very well mannered an treat customers with excellent customer service and gratitude. If you want really good soul food this is the place to go. It's a curbed side pick up.
I’ve been hearing about this kitchen's wonderful community mission for a while and finally decided to treat myself to a solo dinner last night. The vibe is so cozy and inviting, and the team makes you feel like an honored guest the second you walk in. I ordered the blackened catfish and a side of their famous mac and cheese. Made the drive from Tampa specifically for this and zero regrets. Got the blackened catfish and the seafood mac and cheese, both were ridiculous. Portions are generous too, easily had lunch sorted for the next day. Chef brought the food right to the car which was a nice touch. Will absolutely plan around this on my next trip through Gainesville.
Curb-side only, but food is amazing and plentiful.
