Located right below the Southern Sun Pub & Brewery, an older outlet by Mountain Sun, Under the Sun Eatery & Taphouse is a great place to devour the beers brewed at Southern Sun. Tried this place last night. 30 min wait for 2, but that's part of the 'Sun Experience' :-) beers while we waited- plenty of seating room while you wait. The place is beautifully decorated, lots of wood and ceramic. The preview menu looked great. We ate the fried chicken with roasted whiskey glazed carrots and slow cooked greens, and the veggie pot pie tipped with a homemade crust. Delicious! Lots if great beers on tap, and as usual, great waitstaff. Next time, I think I'll try something out of the wood burning oven!
