In a completely empty bar on a Wednesday afternoon, staff would not let me sit solo at the back of the bar by the window. She said she had “people coming”. For the whole bar?? If so, close and say “private party”. And, last I checked, I am “people”. I had already explicitly asked if they were open because it was early and it was so empty and she did not look up when I walked in. Uncorked is off the Main Street of downtown. Nice little find this was the perfect stop for a drink and snack before dinner. The wine flight is a great deal and I really enjoyed all three of my wines! We got two cheese plates for the group, one with meat and one without. While at first glance the portions seemed small, the plate ended up being the perfect amount for two people to split before dinner. What a great selection of wine. The gentleman behind the bar was really helpful and knowledgeable. A cozy place to sit and taste wine.

Have been many times. We like boating here. Good location in Tahoe City. Pretty good bottle selection. Pretty terrible by the glass experience... You can't try anything. People came in, their wine had clearly turned. Server wouldn't get them something different. Beer selection is good. Will never go back.

Not customer centric. Will not allow the customer to try wine before purchasing a glass. Seems like you just need to guess. Also some wine had already gone bad and they won't acknowledge. The customer is always wrong here.
