Terrible food. Didn’t finish any of the three dishes ordered.
3/27/18 My Chinese New Year tradition is to celebrate in China Town, SF, and that usually starts with a dinner before everything kicks off. My boyfriend and I showed up first this year, before any friends, so we had a romantic dinner together, at a table we shared with two strangers. It was actually really fun. Perfect place to eat. The fish and lamb there are perfect.
We went for a quick lunch, the place maybe had 6 tables seated at the time. The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. To top things off, o ur meal came out to $20 for two dishes and they tried to charge me $14 in tax! When I pointed it out, they returned 5 minutes later with my new bill for $22.00 including tax.
Without much in the way of tasty Sichuan options in the city, my go to has been Z&Y up until now, because, well, they're not bad, and they're close to work. My friends suggested this place a few weeks ago though, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
