Rude to the young girls who work there – The owner, Brett, is a bit of a chauvinist towards woman. I have heard him call his young servers derogatory names. He hires a handful of rude thugs as managers who further abuse and assault these kids. I have seen the worst restaurant insects right in my booth! There is a manager, Lance, who is the rudest little arrogant man you could ever encounter in a so called "family" restaurant, where I just witnessed a young girl be fired for going out to get fresh air after another manager to... read more
I am so angry! – I just witness the lowest level of professionalism I could possibly imagine. A manager name Alex said to one of his servers, "Shut up or get the f*** out" in front of numerous customers. When the server tried to go about her duties normally he persisted and said, once again in front of all the customer, "I need your decision, you have five minutes". At which point i had enough and blew up at the guy, trying to convey how angry I was that he would talk this way in front of customers. He literally raised his h... read more
Stay away from this place... – You can find better food at the 7-11 next door. Okay place for cheap beer, but you don't want to eat here. Unless of course you've had several pitchers. Seriously though you're still better off getting a hot dog that's been on the roller for three days or a microwave burrito from the 7-11 next door.
Maricopa Health Inspection report at Maricopa.gov – I loved this place until I looked at it's health inspection report. They have an insect problem. A big insect problem. This site won't let me say what the real name is but it's the worst insect you can have in a restaurant.
Good food! – Excellent cheesesteak and good atmosphere. Went there during lunch and while it was busy the service was excellent and food came quickly. If anyone likes Philly style cheesesteak sandwiches, this is a good place!
american lunch place – Huge portions, good food, usually good service, I would highly recomend it espically as a lunch spot in scottsdale PV area.
AMAZING – I have been going to Uncle Sams every saturday for lunch for over 5 years now, and I cannot say anything bad about it. although I go back and forth between the two locations, I enjoy both equally. Everything on the menu is amazing, however, be prepared for grease. Then again, the grease is what makes true american/itallian food so good. I highly recomend the cheesteak sandwhich (tell them to scoop out the bread-they recently got new bread that is a little thick for my taste), italian hoagie, the pizza(any kind), and... read more
Family favorite – Awesome Philly-style food. If you don't like cozy, try their Scottsdale location at 90th and Shea. Same great food. They are always friendly and fast. I have been going there for 20 years and it's the same great place as it was when I was a kid, which isn't very common in Phoenix. I love this place.
yuckkkk – pros great waitress cons lousy atmosphere so so food owner or manager was very rude
