Just passing thru and came by this place..Good food... very friendly staff... seems to be a popular spot.
I’ve always gone to bat for Uncle Mutts, it was never the best, but it wasn’t bad. I can’t say that today. I ordered a couple chopped brisket sandwiches, and it was dog food to say the least. It seriously tasted like that shredded beef jerky in a snuff can and didn’t look much better. If you’re looking for good bbq, look somewhere else because this place ain’t it. The sweet tea was alright.
Outstanding food and friendly staff!
Brisket was spot on, tender and wonderfully flavorful. Buns soft and fresh, sides were great and tea was very fresh. 5 star across the board!
I only give it a 2 because of the staff and clean restaurant. The chopped brisket was more like ground brisket. The cobbler was burnt. The baked potato had definitely sat in the warmer way too long.
