I've lived in 9 different US states and this place is the worst Chinese food restaurant I have ever been to. Cheapest owners, rude staff and keeps getting even worse. $1.00 extra for sweet and sour sauce (ketchup and vinegar) $1.50 extra for fried rice rather than white. They even ask for you to return any unused duck, soy sauce packets on your way out! Sorry, if you want the packets back it will cost 50 cents each, like you want to do to your customers. RecommendedUncle Lim’s Kitchen always has consistently good food. Their soy protein options taste wonderful and I am not even one that usually uses those types of substitutes. I have tried multiple things but the most recent was a white curry noodle soup with eggplant, green beans and chicken. Superb!!! Great food and fantastic folks! We’ve been going here for almost 7 years. We love the Sesame Tofu, Vegetable Half Moon appetizer with the best homemade sauce, Spring Rolls, etc. We’ve never had a bad meal. Options for vegans and meat eaters. They are the BEST!

We are new to the area and found Uncle Lim's when we went grocery shopping next door. Friendly and welcoming. We love the soy protein firecracker dish. The lo mein noodles are not the regular lo mein so I stopped ordering those. Everything else is tasty and filling. It is our once a week go-to for Chinese fusion. I love that they encourage people not to be wasteful by not taking what you won't use.
Half moon pockets are PHENOMENAL!
The food is always top notch and the family is always welcoming. You can get everything on your standard asian take out menu, and so many specialty dishes you won't find elsewhere. Uncle Lim's is the best asian cuisine available in the Eastern North Carolina, and they're wonderful folks as well... if you haven't tried them, you're really missing out
