I don't usually write reviews but I am so disappointed that I wanted to this time. There were 11 of us eating at Uncle Bucks tonight because my daughter gave several of us a gift card for Christmas. I had not been (neither had she) and we really wanted to try it. I must say that the only thing I really liked about it was the decor. I love the fish house look. The waitress was friendly but slow. terrible I paid $70 for a meal for 2. you can get better fish at captain D's. I ordered grilled grouper. it looked like they overcooked it on a george forman grill and it stuck. it came out in little chewy pieces. it's the only bad piece of grouper I've ever had. if wafflehouse had fish, I would expect the same quality from them for $6.95 a plate. the wife ordered a steak and potato. they were out of potatoes. she said the steak was ok, just not for what they charge. they were also out of several things that we asked for.
