If you want to go affordable, this is your place. We stayed here on our honeymoon so we could save money to enjoy ourselves with activities. This hotel is down on the main drag. Its within walking distance to many nice shops and restaurants. The room was nice - maybe not the most secure hotel I have ever stayed in but we didn't feel unsafe either. On the other side of the fence from this hotel there appeared to be some shady activity going on, but we didn't have a car there so we weren't too worried.
Buffet Hawaiian Style. This is another only in Hawaii one. Uncle Billy's, outside, birds share your food but you don;t care. Fairly cheap and real good. The breakfast is famous.
