If you have HHT and lots of cash in hand... They will be happy to see you. Everybody else, they won't even communicate with you, your primary care or anyone outside of their inner money racket circle. As a disabled veteran, the VA allowed community care to Johns Hopkins, of Baltimore. J.H. of Baltimore, recommended I try UNC Chaple Hill, HHT Center of Excellence. Dr. Kasturi made many promises but failed to provide the care necessary to monitor, support or address my Hematology condition, or general health.

The physicians at UNC Urology are excellent — knowledgeable, compassionate, and highly skilled. Unfortunately, the overall experience is significantly undermined by the administrative and support staff. Communication is poor, and important details are often entered incorrectly. These errors frequently lead to billing issues, such as incorrect coding and higher-than-expected copays for services not actually rendered. Two years ago I had a hematuria which was treated there. The hematuria came back last week. Upon contacting the PA Ms Sarah Stanley via MyChart I received a stunning response disregarding the issue saying that since this happened two years ago I was no longer a patient, and that I should go to another doctor!! I called Duke Urology Clinic on Monday September 9th, got an immediate videocall appointment with a NP, an today September 13 I had performed both a CT Scan and a Cystoscopy with a thorough diagnosis, just awaiting for... read more
