It is a disservice to patients to have a single rheumatologist on staff who only sees new patients one day per week. I am writing this review in August and would not be able to be seen until MAY of next year, even with a referral. That just simply is not okay.
dr V is one of only a few drs I’ve seen in my 30 + years struggling with various medical issues including but not limited to my RA that I can only call not only exceptionally Knowledgeable about immune disorders but She is compassionate caring and listens to what you have to say. Never let her go if you are lucky enough to have her as your provider. From a professional patient with many many years of seeing various drs she is an invaluable asset not only to unc but to the entirety of rheumatology/ immunology.
Dr. Vereczkey-Porter is a compassionate doctor, who is an excellent problem solver for those who have complicated medical issues. I highly recommend her.
