I recently received behavioral-health care through UNC Health and have significant concerns about my experience, particularly regarding communication, involuntary treatment, medication, restraint/transport, and my understanding of my rights. I have requested my complete medical record and intend to provide a more detailed grievance after reviewing it. I would like my concerns formally documented and information about UNC Health's grievance process
They try to diagnose you with random stuff and give you medications that are not needed. Good place but needs alot of work. Food is never on time and usually missing food items for patients. Even in the “adult” unit patients are not being treated with respect and understanding. It’s sad but it’s true.
It was okay, the doctors were nice, nice food still wanna kill myself tho🙁
My ASD child was here during Christmas last year. It was hard enough to have him placed here temporarily for his health, it was even harder all during our favorite holiday together. It was absolutely heartbreaking. However, I will say that the team here was beyond amazing and had the most beautiful hearts when it comes to caring for special needs and their families.
