Major spinal surgery is not simple, comfortable, or easy. Dr. Weinberg and each member of his stall made my experience come as close to those concepts as possible. They are ultimate professionals, caring, kind, confident, and skillful. The facility and is simply world-class, made that way by the folks who work there.
My situation is very complex has lots of issues and complications Dr. Weinberg in the center have been outstanding for the last three years with my health issue. Truly, his surgery was successful, although he did not solve all my problems, but he has always been supportive and done what he could to help me. Everybody’s back issues is different and so he has to be prepared for a variety of issues and I found him knowledgeable, supportive, caring, and kind.
I had an awesome repair of unexpected spine injury by Dr. Doug Weinberg. I love his personal, optimistic nature even though he was called in on a Sunday morning for the surgery. In the follow-up visits, he's cheerful and positive about the course of my treatment and even asks me how my golf game is going since surgery.
I was given excellent, professional, caring and compassionate care at the Spine center and Hospital at Chapel Hill. Doctor Weinberg is a wonderful surgeon who put me at ease and explained the surgery, care and follow up completely and helped me to understand my follow up and recovery needs. I am alive and fully functional today thanks the the Spine Center and UNC Hospital at Chapel Hill.
I felt as if I was in good hands at the spine center, and Dr. Weinberg was clear in his explanations and instructions.
