Does this office even exist? I was referred here by my doctor (who is in the UNC system) and have not been able to get through to the front desk to make an appointment. I have called a few times and waited through several minutes of on-hold music, left messages for call backs, never received any call-backs, and now cannot even leave yet another message because their messages are full! It’s a ghost department.
It is impossible to schedule an appointment in this hospital. Both times I have called there were only answering machines, I left messages but nobody has cared to call me back with an appointment time. How they can survive with an attitude like that is beyond my understanding. Where are the supervisors who should train their people to outstanding patient services? I had put all my Hope in this appointment which did not happen, just SAD.
This is one of the sorriest hospitals in Chapel Hill. When you check in, they have you waiting an hour to an hour in a half. That is even when you have an appointment. I choose UNC Hillsborough any day over this sorry hospital.
Wanting customers to park in the parking deck to pick up meds is absurd when pharmacist is waiting at the door with meds! All the security outside, but no one to assist patients. UNC also has some internal issues that have nothing to do with Covid, but that is their cop out now. Use to be a great hospital and my favorite place; looking for new hospital and Doctors.
