Had a sleep study done at the UNC Hospital Sleep Clinic in mid-December of 2024. I did not receive any information prior to the study - only a street address. This different from other procedures I’ve had in the past where they send an info packet ahead of time. I had several questions about this: Where should I park? Should I eat before I arrive? Do not waste your time dealing with this place. It's the biggest joke imaginable! My cardiac provider sent a referral to them to schedule a sleep study on November 3. After more than a week, I called to see why I had not been contacted about the referral. Spoke with a young man who stated that they had not received any referral. I questioned the young man about where the study would be performed and he said Chapel Hill.
