If you are looking for a clinical audiologist who is patient, kind, and professional....I have been seeing Rachel Douglas for the last 6 months and she has been wonderful! She is so helpful, considerate, and smart! I never feel rushed when she works with me! She is a definite asset to this department for UNC!

I love this office! Dr. Buccini is the best audiologist I have taken my mom to see. We went to a different audiologist before coming here. When it came time to pick a hearing aid, my mother wasn't given the option to try them on and test them out. We were given brochures and told to pick based on descriptions. No one was really vested in making sure the patient had what she needed. My next appointment was with Dr. Buccini. Rushed me through a 1 hour appointment to 30 minutes with no other patients so that the doctor Adrienne could just pause for lunch. I was not given the full price range on either the Starkey or Phonak. I had to ask for the full price range. I was told that I could return the hearing aid if I didn't like it if I wanted to order the Starkey. I was not given the opportunity to try a Starkey even though they had an older model.

It is painfully obvious that this location is interested ONLY in selling new high end hearing aids. They became unresponsive to me when I pointed out that all I needed was to have less than four year old aids reprogrammed for the change in my audiogram. Couldn't tell me the price for that, stopped returning my calls, etc. ... that's a joke as the place was empty as a tomb. They might do a good job fitting you for new hearing aids, but anything else does not interest them.
