RecommendedTop-notch doctors, excellent care at Chapel Hill
I do not recommend UNC Chapel Hill this is supposed to be a teaching hospital that's the joke the doctors and staff don't even know what they're doing. they just transferred my sister from UNC after having a major surgery removing her voice box and parts of the jugular vein to another facility in Rocky Mount that is not equipped to handle her needs the coordinator at the Rocky Mount Hospital just stated to me today that UNC did not communicate her level of need which they are not prepare to meet so now she's there not gettin... read more
The staff, from Drs to valet, are so kind and informed. They truly go out of their way to help you in every way they can. I cant brag enough on the nursing staff, cleaning crew, even the food is amazing (and it's a hospital!!)! I've never felt so heard in my 20+ years of getting medical care for my chronic illness. Worth the 5 hour drive for me.
They helped me with a liver kidney trasplant
Saved my sons life. Removed a cancerous kidney. Excellent Doctors, nurses, food service, housekeeping and transportation. I recommend UNC.
It used to be the best hospital in the state and still has a great staff. The administration sucks.
My Mother was in ICU there for 3 weeks, the staff was caring and attentive, they made her feel cared for and not a burden. They encouraged her recovery and comforted her fears and anxieties. They are an awesome group of people truly dedicated to their calling. May God bless them.
