I just want to share how grateful we are for unc home care specialists prompt response getting my husband on oxygen AND helping us get ready for a big trip requiring multiple oxygen batteries and charger for the portable oxygen concentrator in an extremely short amount of time. Without their care and attention, we would have had to cancel our BIG trip. Ed, John, Lucio, Emma, Alex Lonnie and Joe were part of making this happen and we can’t thank them enough. I commend UNC Health for taking initial steps to restructure and withdraw certain responsibilities from Ed Marlowe. It has come to my attention that he is no longer overseeing the pharmacy department for homecare and they have relinquished his role in managing hospital liaisons for homecare. Given his detrimental impact on the reputation of UNC Homecare Specialist, I hope the organization will take further action to remove him from his position as director of Homecare overall, as his leadership style is detrimental to the UN... read more
The other reviews are correct. This operation is sketchy. We got something that just showed up at our door (not requested). We were told it was covered by insurance (a lie). Also they changed us for the whole month before we got it. Avoid at all costs.
DONT GET ANYTHING FROM THESE PPL. THEY HANG UP RIGHT IN YOUR FACE. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE 100 STARS. CRAPPY
This was the only infusion choice listed by my insurance so I tried it. The company does not have reliable systems in place anywhere - their people (some of whom I applaud for their efforts) are in scramble mode to get things done. It is not a ground floor problem, rather it is a top to bottom management problem which puts their workers, patients, and their own company in terrible positions. Do not use if you have a choice. If you have to, be prepared to oversee everything.
