we had to wait 4 hours to be seen then my mom was put in a nasty room wow this hospital has gone down really bad and if you have no ins they get you out as fast as they can this hospital don't care about any thing but making money ppl get some nurses and Dr here in this WE that cares of what happens to us I wished now I had took my mom to wake med hospital that's a hospital that cares about ppl

Come in with leg pain and a history of blood clots sends me to do and ultrasound after the ultrasound came back negative the DR. (DR RONALD E) just basically gave up on me wrote me a prescription for naproxen after i had told him i had been taking naproxen and it wasnt helping told him 5 times the pain wasnt in my joints still wanted to continue to ask if the pain was in any other joints... If there was an option for a negative star I would eagerly choose that. I began vomiting on Saturday evening and it did not stop until 11:00 pm on Sunday. I am a 29 year old woman with a good job and have never been without health insurance until recently because ironically my enrollment with my new company was scheduled for Monday (today) at 8:00 am. Went for Epidural Injections today. Excellent service. Awesome doctors and staff. Was well informed on what to expect.
This hospital is terrible. Huge waste of money. Wake med is a much better hospital with better trained more caring staff AND Wake med is actually cheaper. You can look up the prices of each test. Several hundreds of dollars cheaper for each test at Wake. Don't waste your money. They'll eventually send you to a real hospital anyway.
This is the filthiest hospital I have ever seen and the nurses are rude when you ask them to clean up the filth.
I would like to make a comment about Johnston Health's ICU. My son, Johnny was there January 1-8, 2018. He died there January 8th. He was treated with the most love and compassion that anyone could have. Johnny was 46, I feel they did all they could to help him. The nurses and doctors were so kind to him and our family. I cannot praise them enough for their care. It takes special people to be a doctor or a nurse when they know a person is so loved and they try to do all they can.
