This hospital sucks, the staff and management. Nurses and doctors would laugh behind you if you’re pregnant and you’re having contractions and you go to the hospital to get check just in case of anything mayor they would laugh and call you crazy and any other names, I heard them talking from the room where am at with my wife waiting for more than 3 hrs for a ultrasound, they don’t care about what happen to the babies here I don’t recommend no one to come here, they call us crazy for coming because she was having really bad p... read more

As my wife's caregiver I was responsible for her health when she fell and fractured her hip on Saturday, September 30 and was admitted, at my request, to UNC Johnson ER in Clayton NC. I suspected she had fractured her hip and wanted her to be admitted into Johnson Hospital Clayton. The reason being that she had a successful right hip replacement there in 2021, and it is an easier location for me to visit. Much to my dismay, I received a message late that Saturday evening stating that she did indeed have a hip fracture and s... read more

My sister was misdiagnosed here said she had flu and it turned out she had meningitis!!!!! Don’t trust this place with your life

Been waiting in at for almost 3 hours and have yet to see a doctor. Only had no etc done when we first arrived. Wife here because of fall and hurt knee and leg they have her in chair without foot and leg supports. Some times here longer then us. Forgot to mention there are very few of us waiting. Only ten and some of those are just with the sick people.

The Emergency department needs some adjustments and training on how to treat the public. This is their job and I understand working with the public isn’t easy but when you disrespect patients, act like their not there and tell them Good when they decide to leave because you have ignored their very existence you don’t need to be working in this field. You represent this hospital and the patients depend on you to help them you chose this career and line of work. My daughter and I waited for 3 hours and never even had anyone sp... read more

I am shocked at how callous some of the nurses are in the ER. My elderly and frail Mother was transported from assisted living tonight. I am out of state. When I called the ER and asked to speak with her I was told that there was no phone available to her at this time, but they would tell her I had called. Two hour later I got the same cold response. I asked for the charge nurse who told me the same thing. I asked her if she understood that I was out of state and concerned about her status and condition. She replied that the... read more

I had out patient surgery on February 6th and I was very impressed with the care and compassion I was shown. I had heard different opinions of the hospital so I was dubious. I am glad to announce that I would choose them again for me and anyone I care about. My friend from Georgia came with me and she said they kept her informed so often. She bragged on the hospital to others. Thank you so much from a patient that truly appreciated my care.
