Poor is an understatement. Treated by a great doctor there who left the UNC train wreck, Dr Mina Gayed. The overall organization of UNC School of Medicine/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is so uninformed and disorganized. They cancel an appointment four months in advance. No staff can schedule me for another appointment, staff does not know what doctors work there and what they actually do and/or treat. I would not waste your time hoping for good treatment with their overall lack of care for people who have problems.
I had a great visit with a doctor about my 3 illnesses. I also got extensive blood testing done. This results came back within a week. Yet, 3 weeks later and the doctor has not called me to discuss the meaning of those results. I've called multiple times and messaged multiple times, asking for a call. No response. I even filed a complaint against the doctor for neglecting to do his job. The complaints people called me after that and assured me they would have the doctor call me and, yet, still nothing. I love the doctor and therapist that my son sees but the front desk receptionist that works on the side where they have therapy and rehab is very unprofessional. She will cut you off in the middle of talking and catch an attitude with you.
Extremely disgusted with the visit I had and will be looking for another facility for this type of care.
