Beware... – I was there to open a SAVINGS account, for crying out loud! Not a checking account, or a loan request, mind you. I didn't realize they would want to do a credit check, nor was I told, until I had handed over my ID. Didn't sit with me too well, obviously. I don't like it when businesses are not upfront with information, and when I am only provided the important details if I happen to ask the right specific question. These Guys are Great! – I had been a customer of one of the big banks for years before making switch. I never thought that my bank teller would remember my name, ask me about my business, weekend etc... I am a big fan of a dieing art "Customer Service," so I was glad to see that this company is trying to revive it. I go to the bank multiple times a week and it used to be a chore, now it is something that I look forward to. Thank you to the staff at Umpqua!
