Doctors do not communicate with staff when they go out on vacation , the fact that there is only a number to the appointment line and the person who answers the line tells you that they're transferring you to the primary care office and then blind transfers you back to the automated line to get rid of you so they don't have to deal with your problems. Called yesterday because I needed a new Rx for DME products and this was my 3rd call for the issue. Spoke to Martha in referrals and she wasn't understanding what I needed and told me I needed to come in. I told her I asked if I needed an appt and was told no. I said I work in a Drs office and she quickly cut me off stating "yes yes you work in a Drs office and know everything" How is the heck is this professional or acceptable to say? We had an appointment with Dr. Rubio at 9:20am, it's almost 11am and we have not been seen yet. I understand some doctor offices have a little wait. But this is excessive. We respect the doctors time and show up to our appointments on time, they need to respect our time as well. Will definitely be looking for a new pcp.
