If I could give a 10 star rating I would. After losing our daughter at 35 weeks we started going to UMC for our last pregnancy and it was the best experience I’ve ever had from a hospital! They were very informative with everything that was going to happen! Thank you UMC and NICU for everything y’all did for my family!!
Gave birth to my first child here, and couldn’t imagine giving birth anywhere else. They had AMAZING staff, they tried their best to make me as comfortable as possible, and were extremely friendly too. Had great conversations with basically all my nurses/doctors and Danielle (doctor that helped while I delivered) was one of my favorites she’s just the absolute sweetest. When I had my baby there, I remember having three different nurses one night. Talk about "continuity of care." They were so busy shuffling around nurses instead of paying attention to my baby's progress, educating me (a first time mom) about laboring techniques, breathing exercises, etc. My baby had complications and I can't help but wonder if it's partly because I had three different nurses who had to start over on my history, a new assignment, and reading the computer chart instead of being an active nurse and providing ac... read more
I drove in from hobbs for my delivery due to not being able to find anyone near me who would perform a VBAC..had a successful VBAC and gave birth to a healthy babyboy! The staff was patient and understanding and took their time on explaining everything to me and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. The nurses were amazing and made sure I was comfortable and made sure they did all they could for my delivery to go well! Thank you to all the postpartum nurses as well who took such good care of us!
