Hidden gem! Love the Umbertos Shrimp and my husband loves the potatoe soup it almost makes me jealous.
My husband and I went in to try something new and loved it. We are not from San Antonio but visit often and always look for different restaurants to try. Service was excellent and food was delicious! We're planning to return and take our family to try it.
Two days ago my family and I decided to take our mom out for an early Mother's Day dinner at Umberto's restaurant. I can say the the customer service was good, but the food was less than adequate. The sauces were bland (including the Alfredo)and pastas were over cooked. On top of not being satisfied with the food, my fiancé got food poisoning from their food. Best kept secret! Excellent food and wine, Great ambiance, Good music, and Exceptional service! Had the Shrimp Umberto and Salmon .... wow!!! House salad and dressing is awesome. The pasta is absolutely delicious. Oh, they don't skimp on butter! Enjoyed every moment! Will be coming back. ��
Best service, and fantastic food, my favorite is is the chicken Francesca and stuffed mushrooms.
Steak and vegetables was excellent-very tender, and I would order it again. I normally I'm not a big steak eater cause I really don't like this one was delicious. The service was also great.
