I have seen her 3 times now. She is always very friendly and understanding of my situation.
I met Umangi Patel, M.D. today and was very thankful that she worked me into her schedule. The doctor is totally professional knowledgeable and very personable. She took the time to listen to me and was not in a hurry. It's hard to find these days. I definitely recommend her If you need a GI specialist. I might add her staff was also wonderful.
I had a visit with her in early October. I felt like there was no true rapport built, as the moment she came into the room I could tell that she was rushing to get out of there. She was standing over me near the door before she realized that she should probably enter the room and act like she is listening to my concerns. Body language is a huge thing.
