I was a long time patient at this practice until I was abruptly cancelled. Apparently my primary doctor left the practice. He had been there many years. Instead of calling and rescheduling me they straight out cancelled my appointment with vwry little notice. I had visited the week before and had bloodwork done and had already heard my doctor had left. I had assumed I would just be rescheduled with a replacement.
Horrible experience! This was my first and will be my last visit to this office. When I scheduled my appointment, no one informed me that being even ONE MINUTE LATE would result in my appointment being rescheduled. As a first time patient, I was already at a disadvantage trying to locate the correct building. There was construction outside of both buildings, and the address numbers were blocked, making it difficult to identify the correct building. I initially went into the wrong building and became lost. My experience following my initial visit with **Dr. Edidiong Akpan** has been extremely frustrating due to a persistent failure in communication and necessary follow-up. After my first visit, I had testing done. I received the results directly from the testing site, and they called me to schedule an additional appointment, clearly indicating the need for the physician's immediate professional review. Jamilah, the front desk coordinator was very rude to me. I live an hour away from this facility. I missed my appointment by 10 minutes and offered to wait in case another appointment opened up because I live far. She got very angry over this and was very disrespectful to me over the course of the 1hr+ that I waited.
Was so nice. Upfront receptionist, doctor, nurses, check out. Loved them all. First visit.
