I have been a patient of Dr. Sokola for 3 years and she has always been very informative, professional and the sweetest Optometrist I have ever gone to. Outrageous prices!! Do not go here!!! Especially if you have vision insurance. They are allowed to charge double the price on the contact lenses, fitting, and eval. So they bill the insurance and your still left with a $300 bill that they cannot explain to you. I was told they charge based on each patients needs. I will never go back there again. Dr. Montoya creeped me out too. Dr. Sokola is nice its a shame they have to charge double on insured people to make money. Bad way to run a business.
CAUTION - Save Yourself – I strongly caution anyone considering going here. Their contact consultation is not covered by insurance, and cost me roughly $100. Before you schedule an appointment ask them how much the total visit will cost, and what is/is not covered by your insurance provider. I also witnessed the discouraged look on a fellow patient
Do NOT go here!!! – Buyer beware!!! Please review their no refund policy. Do not purchase glasses unless you have asked all the right questions. If you have a doubt about your diagnosis go get a second opinion before you commit to purchasing eyewear. I was misdiagnosed and purchased a pair of glasses because I believed the Dr's diagnosis. He was wrong. I still could not see after the glasses and could not get a refund. HORRIBLE!! – I had a horrible experience here! Two different pairs of glasses (they kept giving me the wrong prescription so I couldn't see out of them) AND they charged me more than DOUBLE for a box of contacts than I could get online. They said the contacts would be in within 3 days and 2 WEEKS later they still weren't. No calls of explanation were attempted and they treated me very rudely when I went in the office.
