I bought a winch from these guys some years ago. It sat in its box for most of those years. I finally installed it and had a problem. I contacted Ultra Winch to ask for advice and wasn’t expecting the reply I got. These people leapt into action and helped me sort my issue out in a matter of days without a moments hesitation. My winch is great and I smile every time I see it. If you ever find yourself stuck in a trench, it would be good to have these people standing beside you. Thank you. Highly Recommended.
Within 2 weeks of buying the winch I found myself in a situation where I didnt want to be at ( almost fipping the car during a rock climb ) and ( a deep muddy crossing where ai knew I’d be bogged ) it did save me in both the situations. The winch can definitely take a beating and keep on pulling. Overall really happy with the product and the sense of reliability/insurance it offers me.
My honest review, not fake or paid for.. Not happy, another product that looks top quality on FB ads but actually feels budget when you receive it.. My remote came with flat, no-name batteries. The pdx nameplate fell off. Worse, the winch line is only secured by a tiny crimp screwed to the drum instead of being recessed into the drum, mine snapped while unspooling the line to repack the drum. Had an issue with a brand new winch. Bit of stuff around and took a couple of emails to get a response from customer service. Eventually did and they replaced a faulty unit. I note that reviews less than 4 stars don’t get published on the website.
