The Ultra Pro eclipse sleeves are my favorite sleeves to use for practice and tournaments. When I'm playtesting with Team Meta Potion, we can jam so many games and cards get sleeved and re-sleeved over and over, and the Eclipses just take the abuse like a champ! Playroom Entertainment a company of Ultra Pro, launched a Kickstarter campaign for a game named Unspeakable Words some years ago and never delivered it, I know I'm not the only one that didn't received the game, they stole my money.
I'm afraid I am going to have to amend my previous review of June 2016. As of December 2017 Ultra Pro is struggling to produce anything of quality, at least in the items that I have been purchasing. Although UP is decent at replacing damaged product or poor quality product, they are replacing it with MORE poor quality product. Top loaders that are not "ultra clear" as advertised because of very noticeable scratch lines, blotches, melt marks, and other flaws on their surface. After buying UltraPro Eclipse sleeves for Eternal Weekend and loving them, I decided to go with these for my cube. I purchased one box of 8 packs and an additional 2 packs to have enough. All throughout the packs are sleeves that are cut larger than the rest. This sizing issue really takes away from both the look and how they feel to shuffle. This should be a 5 star rating because the sleeves are great quality, but the sizing issue is a real problem.
I've been an Ultra Pro fan since using their baseball card sleeves and albums back in the 80s. Remarkably, thse products have held up great over the years. Now I use their sleeves and playmats and I love them. Thanks.
