I just bought my car 4 months ago, and I left heartbroken with two long scratches on my right passenger window and scratches on the body of my car. I admit it doesn't make much sense because "soft cloth wash yadda yadda," but I never noticed scratches on my car before going here, especially the ones on the window. They are deep enough to where they are very, very hard to miss. I have to look out my right passenger window every time I want to take a turn. I would have noticed them before going into the car wash.
